“While we all know there isn’t a quick or easy solution to the opioid epidemic that runs rampant throughout our state and nation, we can make a difference by ensuring that extra medication we haven’t used don’t get into the hands of our family members or friends,” Barrar said. “It’s a simple way to make a difference.
Also, prescriptions, over-the-counter drugs and medicines can be dropped off for safe disposal by the Delaware County District Attorney’s Office. By law, needles and epi-pens will not be accepted.
The event is free and will be held rain or shine. For more information, please call Barrar’s district office at (610) 358-5925.
