House Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness Committee to Consider Legislation, Including Barrar’s Fire and EMS Grant Reauthorization

WHAT: Rep. Stephen E. Barrar (R-Chester/Delaware) has called a meeting of the House Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness Committee, of which he is majority chairman, for the purpose of considering two bills. Legislation up for consideration includes Barrar’s House Bill 955, which would reauthorize the Pennsylvania Fire and EMS grant program and Rep. Doug Reichley’s (R-Berks/Lehigh) House Bill 1758, which would increase state active duty National Guard pay.

WHO: Barrar, Reichley and members of the House Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness Committee.
