Barrar to Chair Hearing about Sunoco and ConocoPhillips Facility Closures

WHAT: Rep. Stephen E. Barrar (R-Chester/Delaware), majority chairman of the House Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness Committee, will lead a public hearing to examine the safety issues involved in the scheduled closure of the Sunoco and ConocoPhillips facilities in southeastern Pennsylvania.

WHO: Barrar; members of the committee; James Schiliro, mayor of Marcus Hook Borough; Ed Truitt, Delaware County director of emergency services; David Erfert, refinery manager at ConocoPhillips; John Pickering, Sunoco senior vice president of manufacturing; and other industry professionals.
