Pennsylvania Veterans Law Clinic Offers Free Tax Preparation to Veterans, Says Barrar
HARRISBURG – Rep. Stephen E. Barrar (R-Chester/Delaware), majority chairman of the House Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness Committee, announced today that the Pennsylvania Veterans Law Clinic will again provide free assistance to veterans in preparing their state and federal personal income tax returns.

“This is a wonderful service for our veterans, who gave their very best to the United States of America,” said Barrar. “The men and women who fought for this country provided an incredible service to our nation. Programs like these are an important gesture of gratitude, and I applaud the clinic for making this service available.”

The Pennsylvania Veterans Law Clinic is affiliated with Widener University School of Law. The clinic provides free legal representation to disabled veterans and dependents in appeals to adverse decisions of the federal Veterans Administration (VA).

Tax assistance is open to Pennsylvania veterans, current servicemen and servicewomen, and their dependents.
