Barrar to Lead Examination of Title 35 Rewrite

WHAT: Rep. Stephen E. Barrar (R-Chester/Delaware), majority chairman of the House Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness Committee, will lead the first in a series of three committee hearings to examine House Bill 2562, which updates Pennsylvania’s Emergency Management Services Code, or Title 35.

WHO: Barrar; members of the committee; Glenn Cannon, director of the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency; Elam Herr, assistant executive director for the Pennsylvania State Association of Township Supervisors; directors from county emergency management agencies; and participants from the Keystone Emergency Management Association.

WHEN: Tuesday, Aug. 14, at 10 a.m.

WHERE: The State Fire Academy, located at 1150 Riverside Drive* in Lewistown.
