Barrar and Hackett Bring Hearing to Examine Title 35 Update to Media, PA

WHAT: Rep. Stephen E. Barrar (R-Chester/Delaware), majority chairman of the House Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness Committee, and Rep. Joe Hackett (R-Delaware) will host a committee hearing to examine legislation that would modernize Pennsylvania’s emergency preparedness and response laws.

WHO: Barrar; Hackett; members of the committee; Bob Full, assistant director for the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency; Martin Till, president and chief executive officer of the Penn-Jersey Advance and publisher of the Easton Express-Times; Angel Gillette, president of the eastern region of the Keystone Emergency Management Association; Samantha Phillips, deputy managing director for the City of Philadelphia’s Office of Emergency Management; Robert Kagel, deputy director of emergency management for the Chester County Department of Emergency Services; Randy Gockley, director of emergency management for the Lancaster County Department of Emergency Services; and Eric Fish, senior legislative counsel for the Uniform Law Commission.
