Barrar to Lead House Committee Examination of Legislation to Encourage State Procurement from Veteran-Owned Business
WHAT: Rep. Stephen E. Barrar (R-Chester/Delaware), majority chairman of the House Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness Committee, will lead a voting meeting of the committee to consider two proposals:
• House Bill 1020 would allow for the regionalization of County 9-1-1 Centers.
• Senate Bill 623 would establish state procurement goals for purchasing from
veteran-owned small businesses.
WHO: Barrar, members of the committee, and stakeholders in the veteran and emergency response communities.
