Barrar Announces Availability of License Plates to Honor Veterans
CHADDS FORD – Rep. Stephen E. Barrar (R-Chester/Delaware), majority chairman of the House Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness Committee, this week announced the availability of vehicle license plates to honor veterans.

“The ‘Honoring Our Veterans’ license plate is a great way to show support of our veterans,” said Barrar. “Along with letting other drivers know that you appreciate the service of our veterans, a portion of the proceeds from the license plate funds programs for veterans and their families.”

The Honoring Our Veterans license plate was authorized by Act 194 of 2012. It features an American flag and a bald eagle with the words “Honoring Our Veterans.”

The cost of the license plate is $35, with $15 from the sale of each plate dedicated to the Veterans Trust Fund. The trust fund is administered by the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs to provide grants to veterans service organizations and other charitable organizations.
