House Committee to Host Series of Meetings with Veterans, Emergency Response Stakeholders

WHAT:  The House Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness Committee, led by Rep. Stephen E. Barrar (R-Chester/Delaware), will hold a series of informational meetings to update the committee and its members on a wide range of issues impacting the veteran community and emergency preparedness and response activities. 

The meetings will be held as follows with these designated organizations: 

Tuesday, Feb. 26, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., G-50 Irvis Office Building, Capitol Complex: Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency (PEMA), Office of State Fire Commissioner, Bureau Director of EMS, Renovating Hope Inc., and County Commissioners Association of Pennsylvania.

Wednesday, Feb. 27, 10 a.m. to noon, G-50 Irvis Office Building, Capitol Complex: Pennsylvania War Veterans Council.

Wednesday, Feb. 27, 1-2 p.m., G-50 Irvis Office Building, Capitol Complex: Pennsylvania Fire and Emergency Services Institute and the Firemen’s Association State of Pennsylvania.
