Barrar to Lead Committee Consideration of Several Bills

WHAT:          Rep. Stephen E. Barrar (R-Chester/Delaware), majority chairman of the House Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness Committee, will lead the committee in its consideration of several bills including:

  • Senate Bill 586, which deals with the disposition of veterans’ remains.
  • House Bill 1460, which requires educational institutions to specify on official transcripts when a student does not complete a course due to a military leave of absence.
  • House Bill 972, which waives the fee for a peddler’s license for Pennsylvania veterans.
  • House Bill 1041, which protects the personal information of callers to 9-1-1.
