Committee to Vote on Military Resolutions
WHAT: Rep. Steve Barrar (R-Chester/Delaware), chairman of the House Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness Committee, will hold a voting meeting this week on the following resolutions:

House Resolution 536 – Urges Congress and the Veterans Administration to authorize the use of service dogs to assist veterans with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
House Resolution 597 – Urges the Secretary of the Army to reconsider suspending production of Bradley fighting vehicles, which are produced in York.
House Resolution 663 – Urges the president and Congress to support and fund the “Blue Water Navy Vietnam Veterans Act of 2013,” which would extend Agent Orange benefits to military personnel who did not have “boots on the ground” in Vietnam, but were nonetheless exposed to Agent Orange.
House Resolution 739 – Urges the president and Congress to pass House Resolution 3930, which establishes the National Commission on the Structure of the Army, and further prohibits the U.S. Army from using FY 2015 budget funds to change the structure and effectiveness of the Army National Guard.
