House Committee to Explore Veterans Programs, Services

WHAT: Rep. Steve Barrar (R-Chester/Delaware), chairman of the House Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness Committee, and Rep. Rick Saccone (R-Allegheny/Washington), chairman of the Subcommittee on Military and Veterans Facilities, will host an informational meeting on veterans programs and services.

WHO: Barrar, Saccone and members of the subcommittee, as well as the following testifiers: Brig. Gen. Jerry Beck, deputy adjutant general for veterans affairs, Pennsylvania Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA); Michelle Staton, deputy secretary for workforce development, Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry; John Brenner, chairman of the Pennsylvania State Veterans Commission; Kit Watson, state adjutant for the American Legion, Department of Pennsylvania; John Cyprian of Butler County, president, Pennsylvania Association of County Directors of Veterans Affairs; and Afshin Khosravi, CEO, Triology Integrated Resources.
