Lawmakers to Honor POW-MIA with ‘Chair of Honor’ at Capitol, Says Barrar
WHAT: Rep. Steve Barrar (R-Chester/Delaware), majority chairman of the House Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness Committee (VAEP) and Vietnam War veteran, will host an event at the state Capitol in honor of the 91,000 U.S. servicemen and women still unaccounted for since World War I. The event will include the unveiling of a POW-MIA Chair of Honor, which will be placed in the state Capitol as a reminder of those missing in action and those who endured as prisoners of war.
