House Committee to Host Meeting with Veterans, Emergency Response Stakeholders
WHAT: The House Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness Committee, led by Rep. Steve Barrar (R-Chester/Delaware), is hosting an informational meeting to update the committee on a wide range of issues impacting the veteran community and emergency preparedness and response activities.
WHO: Representatives from the following organizations will testify before the committee: Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency, Pennsylvania Fire and Emergency Services Institute, Pennsylvania Emergency Health Services Council, ERG Partners, Pennsylvania Department of Health, Blue Rock Fire Rescue, Ambulance Association of Pennsylvania, Eastern Pennsylvania American Red Cross, Pennsylvania War Veterans Council Legislative Committee, Pennsylvania State Veterans Commission, Pennsylvania Civil Service Commission, Canine Partners for Life and Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education.
