Barrar, House Committee to Vote on Bill to Fund Emergency Response System

WHAT: Rep. Steve Barrar (R-Chester/Delaware), chairman of the House Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness Committee, will hold a committee meeting to vote on three bills:

House Bill 859 would provide for a sunset reauthorization of the Commonwealth’s 911 system under Title 35.
House Bill 807 would amend Title 51 by establishing that Pennsylvania National Guard general officer pay shall be uniform with the Federal Department of Defense pay scale for general officers.
• House Bill 807 would amend Title 51 by placing the Pennsylvania Civil Air Patrol under the Pennsylvania Department of Military and Veterans Affairs for administrative support purposes.
